First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the net or at physical casinos for many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are broke. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you decide to track your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you see that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slots, have an amount set aside prior to starting your play. Don’t go over that boundary, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a different canister. Do not use your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar casino, don’t stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.
Keep in mind, gambling should be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, don’t even start.
